Censorship of independent music in printed media during the normalisation period

This bachelor thesis deals with the censorship of independent music in print media during the normalization period. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part.The first theoretical part is devoted to the censorship and political situation in Czechoslovakia in so colled the normalization period. The thesis approaches the important printed media that influenced the musical scene in Czechoslovakia. Respondents selected for interview are presented in the practical part. The analysis and comparison of the interview follows. The conlusion summarizes the findings of the analysis. Keywords: Censorship, printed media, normalization, underground, Czechoslovakia
